I’m moving from the UK to NZ around 2/3 through Year 12 and will probably join NCEA Level 2. I’m doing GCSEs/IGCSEs with predicted grades around Maths A-A*, English Language A, French A*, Geography A-A* etc.

Would I still need to do the literacy/numeracy CAAs after arriving? Has anyone transferred from GCSEs into NCEA Level 2 before? Lastly, would my GCSES be transferred into NCEA credits and will Uni’s look at my GCSE’s as evidence to accept me if I fail level 2 if I don’t have enough credits and also will I be able to get enough credits to pass level 2 if joining in min August. Thanks!
