I remember a moment in a fanfic where Wednesday tells Enid that the Addamses have patron animals as the symbols of their lines (hers is a raven for obvious reasons). Then she gives Enid a wolf talisman that was basically inherited from an extinct branch of the family.

I can't remember what fic this was and it's driving me crazy.
