Need topper recommendations. My coir matress of many years is still good enough , but want to upgrade by having a softer feel.
I do plan to replace the matress when the next matress sales are going on, so not looking for something too expensive. Prefer memory foam.
There is a slot for single bed which I want to convert to double bed.
Am thinking if I should cover the 3 inch slot with either wood or hr/bonded foam and then use the entire upper part as wooden pallet and keep matress directly on top.
It will be slightly smaller than double bed, but that's ok for me as I plan to get custom matress for the exact size.
Is this a practical long term solution?
For now, we have put a cotton matress in the slot and memory foam queen size matress on top so it covers entire area.. working alright so far, but wanted to hear expert opinions on long term durability and stability for this .
