Genuine question
I have been fascinated by way people here interpret this franchise for a long time and regarding a recent post, I want to understand how people can look at water hazards design and think orishans look even slightly robotic.
Water hazard design is very evidently based on crustaceans/shellfish. His head shape literally looks like a stereotypical cephalothorax of a crab just simplified for the artstyle. His "ribs" on the sides of his chest resemble that of crab legs furthering the connection. He also has black spots all over his shell that resemble a discoloration of a crabs shell. Also shooting water out of his body is something real crabs can naturally do. All of this things (subconsciously) told me as a kid that he is basically just a bipedal crab creature.
I really just want to understand how someone can look at him and think that he has any robotic components to his look as i have never even thought of that until I stumbled upon this subreddit.
