One night out of the blue I saw hello in cursive in multiple languages although I was on lockdown mode and I had turned off automatic updates (iPhone 16 pro Max).
How is this possible to receive an update without having consented? On lockdown mode???!
I was caught off guard, right in the middle of the night and since I was half asleep unfortunately I followed all the prompts and now I’m afraid I installed spyware on my iPhone.
The reason why I b ought this phone in the first place is because I wanted to prevent spyware!
I know you’re gonna say to me that my phone is not hacked but I truly believe it is.
The phone has been acting weirdly ever since.
I want to know if it was malware. I believe someone that knows my WiFi password used my WiFi connection to send me spyware. Was there any update release about 25 days ago ? My ios is 18.7.7.
