Should I buy epson 710hd home cinema?
I need an opinion if it's a good deal for me. I know it's a +10year old projector, I want it to start projecting some vj stuff and other artistic media stuff, learn video mapping on small things, and probably used for visuals in small parties. maybe some movies and sports in home from one day to another.
I do live in a relative small city in Mexico and been looking in the second hand market and I had been patience while searching. Maybe I can wait more but this looks attractive as it is WXGA and cost around $120 dollars.
What are your thoughts on the deal? should I wait more and save more, I don't think it's a good idea to throw more than $150/200 as it is a hobby but maybe I could if something better approaches or is totally worth it to save for. Today I discovered in this sub the optoma ph31 new for example, it's out of my budget now but... you know it's tempting.
It would be used in a wall that is like 4meters tall x 6 wide. and the max projection distance would be like 5meters. But this will change as i plan to use it on different spots.
