I’m trying to enable cooling on a Daikin Altherma EHVH08S23EA6V (EHVH series) with a floor cooling setup, but I’m stuck and I cannot figure out what is still blocking it.

System setup:

• Model: EHVH08S23EA6V
• Floor heating + floor cooling (low temp system)
• External thermostat via dry contacts (Home Assistant)
• X2M wiring:
  • 30–35 = heating demand
  • 30–34 = cooling request
• JP01 bridge removed
• Installer settings:
  • E02 = 0
  • E01 = 0
  • E03 = 3
  • Emitter type = underfloor heating
  • Thermostat = external
  • 2-contact mode enabled
  • Cooling water law is available and configurable

What works:

• Cooling water law is visible and editable
• Reversible type is shown in settings
• Cooling valve appears in actuator menu
• System shows “heating/cooling” capable in diagnostics

What doesn’t work:

• Cooling mode is still greyed out in “Operation mode”
• No snowflake icon appears
• X2M-34 (cooling request contact) has no effect
• Seasonal / schedule cooling menu is also greyed out

What I tried:

• Full power cycle (several minutes off)
• Changed E02 / E01 settings
• Verified 2-contact thermostat mode
• Checked all installer menus available to me

Question:

What could still be blocking cooling activation on this system?

Is there an additional installer parameter (A / F / hidden setting / zone permission) required to unlock cooling mode on EHVH series?

Or is cooling actually hardware-restricted on this model revision despite “reversible” showing in settings?

Any help from installers or Daikin technicians would be really appreciated.

J'ai une PAC daikin Altherma 3 (EHVH08S23EA6V), j'ai acheté le kit de rafraichissement pour mon plancher rafraîchissant.

J'ai bien coupé le pont 01 sur la carte électronique et passé le registre E 02 à 0.

Mais je ne trouve pas comment l'activer après le redémarrage.

Si une bonne âme a l'info je suis preneur !

I have an old MSI gp73 (igpu Intel ans dgpu NVIDIA gtx1060).

I just Ant to play small game with friends ex over Cook...

So, I install the desktop version due to GPU compatibilities then I try to connect the HDMI to the TV but the screen freeze until reboot.

Any idea ?

The final is to have it working lid close with the screen display on the TV.
