It’s SO annoying. I actually hate it.

Currently I work as an engineering consultant in MEP. I don’t hate my job but it’s not even remotely the reason I went to school. I graduated a few years ago and was just happy to land a job given the horrid market in the US for new grads. But the thing I went to school for, designing, building, seeing things come together one step at a time until completion, is not even close to what I’m doing. I’ve tried many times doing it in my little free time, but I’m just too exhausted from work and personal life to have personal projects that require lots of effort. It just sucks, I love almost every project I did in school. One project I did was make an automated car using an FPGA, and I just LOVED it. From nothing to a car, loved it. But now I can’t even break into that field, and every year that goes by, makes it harder to get into it or anything that’s actually more electronic based. There’s my coping.

Literally the title. Just finished watching it today and got curious how much they have monthly, and it’s still only 10k almost 11k months later. We need to get this thing to 20k/month. Come on y’all

Everyone is complaining about Ai and Ai taking stem jobs away, but in reality US companies are offshoring our stem jobs to different countries. Literally see it everywhere. And why wouldn’t they? They can pay pennies on the dollar using India employees.

Not to get political but I think we all know why this is even allowed. Can’t express how much this pisses me off.
