Can an unborn baby survive an atomic bomb?

Stupid fucking question but idk how else to put it. I was watching the Ant Walkers on YouTube, about Hiroshima. He was retelling survivors stories about the horrific things they witnessed immediately following Hiroshima. Some things seem like a stretch, idk. Side note; I am very disgusted by the atomic bombs, and debate anyone who tries to justify them. I live in the US South, so that's everyone.

Anyway, the most unbelievable to me was the man who saw an unborn child wriggling in its burned mother's corpse (in a burned car). I've seen some very scientific answers in this sub, so I'm hoping to get a true understanding of how this could have happened, if it's even possible at all. Ty in advance!

Narcotics for surgery?

Hey there, I (26f) am getting surgery for a zone 3 tendons and nerve repair microsurgery. I accidentally stabbed myself in the palm in a cooking accident, and lost control/sensation for over half of my left hand. It happened a little over a week ago, and surgery is on Friday. So far it's been easy to avoid narcotics, I'm doing about 800mg a day of ibuprofen, with an additional 500mg acetaminophen a day the first few days after it happened.

I am worried it won't be so painless after surgery, since I looked up the surgery and it makes my hand look like zigzags of ground beef 😭. I am on Seroquel, which has deadly interactions with narcotics. Also, I get manic almost immediately on narcotics. For these 2 reasons, I definitely can't have them. Has anyone had a surgery like this without the help of narcotics? Should I get a prescription for them anyway just in case?

Stabbed in hand, surgery needed?

I am 26f, 180lbs, 5'4, smoke only weed, and take Seroquel 350mg at night, oxcarbazepine 750mg night and again at morning, and 200mg caffeine in the mornings.

I have a knife stab wound through my left palm. I had already taken my Seroquel for the night, so I was sedated at the hospital. They stitched me up at midnight last night. I'm not sure what they told me about the injury. I have an appointment with my Dr on Friday. When it happened, it was spurting blood up like a fountain, but also numb. I'm wondering if this means serious arteries/nerves could have been hit?

My main concern is whether I will need surgery. My middle finger is 100% numb, but I can move it. My ring finger is 80% numb, and I cannot move it at ALL. My pinkie hurts to move, and keeps cramping into a curled position. The other 2 fingers are fine. I cannot straighten the arm without excruciating pain in the wound. The hand bones are really sore, but ER Dr said likely not fractured.
