My boy is a ~25 kg (55 lb) Golden Retriever with arthritis, he’s struggling to walk much—stiff, slow, and clearly uncomfortable, sometimes he even poos and can’t stand up from it. I’m looking into BPC-157 as something to but the info online is all over the place and a lot of it is from sites selling the stuff.

For anyone who’s actually used it on their dog, I’d love to hear:

After 8 weeks taking, Stopped about 5 weeks ago due to eye issues.
Developed light sensitivity, blurry vision in one eye, and central blur at distance while on it.
What I've done:
• Stopped immediately
• Multiple eye exams (slit lamp, normal)
• Visual field test: normal
• OCT angiography: normal
• Corneal OCT: normal
• Glasses don't help vision
• Sunglasses help significantly (light sensitivity)

Vision still blurry but doctors finding nothing structural. Doctor surprised everything is normal.
Next steps are IVFA and MRI to be thorough.
Background: had SMILE laser surgery 2 years ago, so post-SMILE eyes already prone to dry eye.
Has anyone else experienced persistent light sensitivity or vision issues after stopping retatrutide? How long did it take to fully recover? Did you find anything that helped?
