Asking those who took BPC injectables for gut issues

Hello! I am on day 5 of injecting BPC 157 for gut issues and i have some questions for those who have also done this, to get an idea of what to expect based on peer anecdotal perspective.

Quick background: 34F - This is my first time trying peptides. I’m usually too scared of the risks (and potential waste of money) to try anything remotely controversial, but after 5 years of awful gut issues that have severely impacted my life, trying every treatment in the book and seeing no improvement or known cause, I have nothing else to lose at this point. A PA I saw told me this might be worth a shot if all else failed & I’m okay with the risks. So he orders it from a compounding pharmacy in a different state with less laws around it. I trust it’s of quality.

My questions:

  1. What types of gut issues were you having & did you try any conventional medical treatments first

  2. If you felt noticeable improvements, around what week mark did that happen for you?

  3. Did your gut issues ever get worse before they got better? If so, for how long?

  4. What improvements did you notice?

Thank you!!

First time - Some guidance needed

Looking to get the wolverine stack for some injury recovery. Lots of googling online, and lots of sellers.

Pricing is all over the place, but Zenith Supply Group seems to be the cheapest for most of their compounds.

I reached out to them and they were easy to deal with, I'm just a bit hesitant as this is my first time purchasing anything like this.

Any advice?

side effects

Is anyone aware of any increase in blood pressure, tachycardia/palpitations, or flushing in any subjects most likely as a result of BPC 157? TIA!

Wish I’d never tried it

This stuff really flared my lupus and other autoimmune issues.
I had no problems with the capsule I’d swallow last year but no great gains

Tried the injections for two weeks and it did nothing but throw me into the worst flare of my life

- also gave me tachycardia
- swollen knees - though I get this when I flare
- anxiety and adrenaline
- reflux
- couldn’t sleep well
- felt like I was heating up

2 years BPC-157

Hi all. I am a 42 year old bodybuilder and Fitness coach. I have been training since I was 14 years old and have served 8 years in USMC. Needless to say, my body has some aches and pains. All things considered, Im very fortunate to have the health I do. 2 years ago, I decided to try BPC-157. I have had many injuries over the years but the chronic and nagging one that wouldnt go away included rotator cuff (teres minor) tendinitis, biceps tendinitis in both arms, front delt tendinitis, lower back strains, nerve damage, several broken spinous and transverse processes in the thoracic spine. Nothing that would take me out of the game, but enough to be painful. I was always trying to avoid certain exercises to mitigate pain.

Fitness is a huge part of my lifestyle and sobriety, so taking a lot of time off wasnt an option. I started with oral BPC-157 at 1000mcg daily and I did start noticing pain relief after about 2 weeks in my shoulder. After about 6 weeks, my overal tendinitis was lowered probably 50%. That was just from the oral capsules.

I then searched and found a reputable dealer of injectable and that was a game changer. After about 2 months taking 600mcg, nearly 90% of my pain was gone. The only nagging thing that stuck around was about 40% of my right bicep tendinitis. Theres early any bloodflow in that area, so Im not surprised that place didnt heal all the way. But its much better.

After I got the results I wanted, Ive been on 300mcgs maintenance daily and things have been smooth sailing. Ive been injured here and there (part of the lifting game at my age and amount of years training) mostly slight muscle pulls here and there. The BPC-157 makes those heal way faster though.

Added benefits have been lower blood pressure, better bloodwork ( better ast, alt, cpk, and kidney counts). Inflammation is way down and I get to continue to do what I love. Train.

Anybody whos on the fence, give it a go. Especially athletes and those in physcial labor jobs.

Questions

Hello yall, recently I had surgery for my gynecomastia and I’ve interested in taking a bpc/tb blend to help heal it. Has anyone in this community experienced a similar case as me? Also would this blend help heal the scars, etc.

Also I have a general questions that I’m curious about. Can bpc cause cancer? It sounds stupid but I’ve seen stuff online saying how it could possibly help grow cancer cells. No clue if that’s true and some clarification would help.

Thanks!

FDA Briefing doc for upcoming pharmacy advisory compounding committee.

Nothing surprising. No evidence that BPC does much. Not really a shocker since it's mostly a placebo effect driven by online hype and hysteria.

https://www.fda.gov/media/193343/download

Edited: Here's the cliff notes version.

It's promising if you're a rat:
- Prevention of colonic fistulas
- Protection against NSAID-induced stomach/intestinal lesions
- Hepatoprotective effects
- No dose-response relationships were established
- Molecular targets and mechanisms of action remain unknown
- Animal results don't reliably predict human outcomes

Animal Toxicity Findings (28-day studies):
- Clotting abnormalities: aPTT shortening in rats, prolongation in dogs (suggesting altered clotting)
- Liver signals: elevated ALT, glucose, and triglycerides
- No teratogenicity observed in pregnant rats

Reported Adverse Events (FAERS Database) for humans:
- Injection site reactions (redness, swelling)
- Shortness of breath requiring ER visit
- Diffuse hyperpigmentation and gingival darkening

Immunogenicity Concerns (major FDA concern):
- Immune responses ranging from benign antibodies to life-threatening reactions
- Peptide aggregation (which can trigger immune responses and reduce efficacy)
- Potential neutralization of endogenous peptides

Grade 2 adductor strain, 42 yo female, 115 lbs, what dose would you recommend?

I was in a car accident. I'm not sure what happened to my body, but I was t-boned by a car going about 10mph, the seat belt tightened and I am pretty sure I braced myself as I got hit. I thought I was fine, an hour later I was in excruciating pain. It's been one month. The pain has gone down about 90 percent.

The doctor told me it may be a grade 2 adductor strain, but no definitive diagnosis bc they are garbage and didn't give me a pelvic mri. I can't get a physical therapy appointment for 9 more weeks. I know, it's insane, but this is how it is.

Currently, I can walk, I can stand, and the pain is just mildly bad, but constant. Sitting is horrible. Working is extremely difficult. My inner thigh burns. My butt muscles are really tight, especially by the end of the day, and the leg stuff hurts, but only if I do stuff. My lower back gets very very very painful by the end of the day. It's moderately bad, but obviously healing, just very slowly. Pain level is about 5-7 most waking hours. (Accident was 1 month and three days ago.)

Eight days ago I started bcp-157. I take 500mcg injected in my inner thigh or lower stomach every morning. It doesn't feel like it is doing much.

Question: Should I up it to 500mcg am and 500mcg pm?

Any advice would help. My job is active and I haven't been able to work since this happened without excruciating pain, and no more than 2-4 hours a day. I'd love to get back to at least 4 hours of work a day, as I don't have any unemployment. I'm a self employed artist.

My bpc experience

Hello everyone, here is my experience with bpc 157 for someone who was in my shoes questioning if it’s worth the risk before starting it.

I started taking it for some bicep tendonitis I’ve been dealing with for a few months that just refuses to heal. It’s only been 4 days but I really genuinely feel like this stuff works. My tendonitis already feels noticeably better which genuinely blows my mind.

The downside is that it’s giving me what feels like pretty significant anhedonia. I’m literally out with friends the other day and I just feel completely flat. I don’t really feel anything and it’s honestly awful. Let me also say that I knew this was a real possible side effect going into it and figured the tradeoff would be worth it, but i now realized it’s not.

For context, I’m probably predisposed to this kind of thing. I’ve struggled with mental health for years and I’m also on an SSRI, so thats probably playing a role.

Just wanted to share my experience and hear from others or to get any feedback… and I’m completely stopping after my last injection on the 4th day.

The last thing I wanted to say as well - I only feel like this peptide will only really work if you do. Throughout the 4 day period I’ve continued lifting weights and loading the tendon to help drive blood into that area for adaptations. Obviously people have different ailments and injuries, but if you can I recommend training around your injury or doing PT.

Edit: I don’t want to say it was refusing to heal prior to bpc, just very slowly as tendons do and I’m impatient asf.

Bpc alone or in a stack

Does BPC work for healing if it's combined into a stack like a glow or klow stack, or do you have to use it by itself, to feel effects.

Has anyone experienced these side effects? Is this normal?

Hi everyone,
I started using the Wolverine Stack (5 mg BPC-157 + 5 mg TB-500) two days ago.
The very first thing I noticed was that my dreams became much more vivid. I almost never remember my dreams, but since starting the peptides they’ve been extremely realistic. On the second day, I actually woke up early because of a vivid dream.
Today I also started feeling like my heart was beating faster, with occasional palpitations. I’m not sure if it’s related to the peptides or if it’s just anxiety.
For reference, my dose is:
250 mcg of BPC-157 + 250 mcg of TB-500 once daily
I reconstituted the 10 mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water
I’m injecting 10 units on a U-100 insulin syringe each day.
Has anyone experienced vivid dreams, waking up early because of dreams, or feeling their heart beating faster while using BPC-157 and TB-500? Did these side effects go away over time, or did you have to lower the dose or stop?

Thanks!

Swelling after increasing dose? (Wolverine stack)

Looking for opinions because something isn’t adding up for me.
Background: 6 years ago I had ACL reconstruction on my right knee. In May 2025 I had a flap tear of the medial meniscus in the same knee, which was fully repaired. I returned to BJJ in October. Then in November 2025 I completely tore my LCL in the left knee (Grade 3).
At that point I started peptides and ran them consistently for about 3 months:
BPC-157: ~4500–5500 mcg/week
TB-500: ~3000 mcg/week
GHK-Cu: ~9000–12000 mcg/week
I have MRIs before and after, and the LCL healed extremely well. Obviously rehab and strengthening played a huge role too.
The problem is my right knee (meniscus). It’s been the knee with recurring setbacks. Every time I’ve used peptides in the past, swelling decreased, ROM improved, and the knee felt better.
A week ago I had another setback and only had one Wolverine Stack vial (5 mg BPC + 5 mg TB), which I used over 7 days. This time the opposite happened: the swelling hasn’t gone down and seems to be increasing after every injection.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Am I missing something obvious here?

Same day syringe usage

When administering 2 daily injections of BPC-157 ( in research subject ) is it ok to draw enough for both dosages in one syringe, inject half in the morning, put syringe in fridge and inject the other half at night, or is this not sanitary enough?

Using tb500/bpc-157 viable in this situation?

Could tb500 and bpc-157 help with old injuries such as ligament and tendon based injuries, as well as joint issues and flexibility.

I am also currently doing bjj/mma,gym,surf and skate so there’s a lot of impact on my joints.

Could they help with the old injuries alongside stuff like flexibility which would be a bonus for these sports/hobbies?

BPC 157 Intravenous into knee?

Hi all, has anyone personally injected a course of bpc 157 into the knee cavity? Or know of someone who did? I have chrondomalacia patella in one knee, and aome tendinopathy. I was wondering if it might improve results. Or is this a very bad idea because it's not sub q? What does it matter?

edit maybe intravenous in Title is not the right word. I just meant directly into joint cavity*

BPC-157 for a dog with arthritis?

My boy is a ~25 kg (55 lb) Golden Retriever with arthritis, he’s struggling to walk much—stiff, slow, and clearly uncomfortable, sometimes he even poos and can’t stand up from it. I’m looking into BPC-157 as something to but the info online is all over the place and a lot of it is from sites selling the stuff.

For anyone who’s actually used it on their dog, I’d love to hear:

Dose, frequency, duration of your experience

Anyone get worse before better?

Hi there,

started BPC /TB500 a couple weeks ago and immediately felt great, but eventually I began feeling old injuries, kind of flare up like in my knees and my wrist and my hands, but then it hit my neck and I have stenosis and some other issues in my C5 through C7. I haven’t felt them in a long time, but immediately started getting horrendous pain all down my right arm on the side that is most affected.

At first, I shrugged it off as healing. My chiropractor and acupuncturist both said I have some pretty heavy inflammation around those disc segments. They projected I’d feel better in a couple days but now it’s been over six days and I still have pain all the way down my right arm I have full range of motion and everything else feels great. No site reactions. Nothing like that.

I guess I’m just wondering have any of you gone through this did you push through it? Did you pause the peptides? I’m tempted to pull back for a week and then maybe do a test and see if it re-amplifies it. Just curious about people’s experiences.
