A+ grades but little experience or B+/A- grades but lots of experience

first year here and im trying to put myself out there as much as i can but the trade off has been my grades im currently like B+/A- average since i havent been studying as much as i should but do things change if it balances out with experience and achievements?

ofc id want to keep my grades up but its hard starting out so i wanna know if i should pivot my game plan for the best outcome.

thanks guys

any other broke 18y doing ironman 70.3?

17f just signed up for a IM 70.3, ive got a part time job making ~100/week but i wanna know where you guys are putting your money towards.

ive got 1k saved up so far for a bike and gear and ive got 10 more months to save more. what is necessary and whats not?

i also wanna know what kinda bike is good and what swim gear to get thats budgetable.

id say id spend no more than 2.5-3k minus the registration cost on everything, but let me know if thats actually unreasonable.

thanks guys.
