
28 days out from my first half
Im down almost 75 lbs now and 28 days away from my first half marathon. Prior to starting training at the beginning if the year i'd only ever ran a handful of 5's and one 10 km race. My only goal is to finish the race in the time allotted which is 3 1/2 hours.
Ive been trying to practice fueling because I have been losing steam around the 10 km mark. I have a sensitive stomach and live in a small town so have to order online. The only thing that havent upset my stomach are the honey packets hut they dont really do much for energy. The strange thing is, if i call er quits early, I feel like i could go hike a mountain right after, so im wondering if maybe its all in my head and I totally have more energy than I feel like i do 🤣
A lot of doubt has been popping into my head the past few days. Debate as to dropping my distance downtown 10 km, fear that I wont finish in time, and have also been battling some pretty deep body dysmorphia....I still see myself as morbidly obese.
