Transition from high volume household to just two people
my spouse and I are moving with our sweet baby boy within the next couple weeks. since we adopted him, he’s almost always had someone home with him because we live with my extended family. His behavior varies from extremely clingy to disappearing for hours to nap away from everyone. we are worried about the transition for him from always having a human with him at some point during the day, to just my spouse and I. we also have first shift work hours as well so sweet baby boy will be alone for 6ish hours a day during the work week most of the time. has anyone had a similar transition with their cats? we are overly concerned because he is our life (we don’t have human kids and don’t plan on having them) and will do or buy anything it takes to make him comfortable.
