If you just ease off the pedal (even quickly) before clutching*, the revs drop relatively quickly to the point where accelerating is pretty smooth with no intentional shifting delays.

2024 Civic SI here and It bugged me at the beginning. I was heavily considering a ktuner while in warranty just to get rid of it but now im gonna wait.

Hi there, I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were of a DIY heat shield for SRIs? I am planning on buying the 27Won SRI but want to save a few hundred dollars for the extra CAI pieces.

I live in a relatively cold climate so SRI doesnt bug me, but it seems I can reduce most of the heat soak effect with just a cheap DIY heatshield. Has anyone done this before?
