Texas DQ burrito 7.5/10
I usually ignore this part of the DQ menu, but I’m obsessed with their patty melt so I figured I should finally try some of the Tex Mex stuff.
Texas DQ is really its own thing. I trust their food more than I trust most fast food, and I usually don’t feel gross after eating it.
The burrito was actually good. Solid 7.5/10. It tastes like a chimichanga, or maybe one of the better frozen burritos from the grocery store that costs a little more. Not bland mystery fast food filling. It seems like some kind of seasoned beef mixture, basically whatever you expect inside a beef chimichanga.
Also, and this matters, it’s deep fried.
It’s a good size too. Pretty substantial. I liked it. I may or may not get it again, but I’m glad I tried it. Now I want to try the beef taco bowl.
