Teotihuacan Cloudy Day Worth It?

Hi, I’ll be travelling to Mexico City next week (9th to 17th) and was originally planning to do a hot air balloon tour at Teotihuacan. Yes, touristy, but I’m a tourist what do you expect.

Looking at the weather forecast it seems like it’s been quite cloudy with not much blue sky recently. I’m wondering whether it’s still worth to do on a cloudy day or if visibility will just be abysmal? It’s not a cheap thing to do so I don’t feel the need to force it and do it just for the sake of doing it if the clouds will dampen the experience.

If we don’t do it, any other short day trip recommendations? The other one we have considered was going to Tepoztlàn, curiour to hear recommendations on this.

Help me pick my dress pls

Hi, I’m getting married in Europe next year and need help choosing my dress as I am really conflicted. Our venue has both an older catalan farmhouse and a more modern manor house that has big arched windows and is a light terracotta colour. The interior of the venue leans more modern than traditional farmhouse. Weather permitting we will hopefully be having all of our events outdoors in their gardens and in a courtyard at the front of the manor house.

I have always pictures myself in a ballgown, mostly because when else do you get to wear one?? But after trying on a more fitted but still dramatic style I’m conflicted. Pros and cons below please help me!!

1st dress: Jenny Yoo Tristan Print
First dress I ever tried on and I absolutely love it. The ballgown isn’t overly “poofy”, the longer basque waist is flattering on my figure, the warmer ivory colour is also great on me. The buttons on the back feel really bridal and I love that detail. The print on the fabric adds something to what is an otherwise (in my opinion) plain and maybe too simple dress. But, on the flip side I do worry that I’ll outgrow the print/get tired of it. I have also always liked the idea of wearing a mantila lace veil, but I wouldn’t be able to do so with this dress as it would be too busy with the pattern. My main concern with this dress is getting tired of the pattern and having to stick to simpler accessories. I love how romantic and classic it is.

2nd dress: Kyha Evans
This dress has such a wow factor and I feel very model like in it. The longer dropped waistline and the neckline are so flattering on me. The layered and draped skirt make this a more unique dress and I like how “architectural” it is. The silk is a gorgeous and very timeless ivory. It’s not a dress I would’ve picked off the rack myself (my stylist did), but I loved it as soon as I put it on. I tried on a mantilla lace veil with this and it was absolutely gorgeous. I don’t love the corset back, I much prefer buttons, but the corset back allows the dress to be really snatched in. My main concern with this is regretting not wearing a ballgown even though I think this design looks more flattering on me?? The last 2 pictures show alterations I could make and how I would bustle it, which do add a lot of volume to the skirt and make it more ballgown-y.

Please help this very conflicted bride that has to make a decision asap. I really am lost on what to do and keep going back and forth between the two.
