How to clean sticky 1950s cabinets?

We’ve owned our 1950’s home for 6 years.
I regularly try to clean our cabinets but they always feel sticky/tacky. I’ve tried both vinegar solutions, pinesol, and diluted detergent solutions. Any tips?

[Product Question] how to tell which is newer without a manufacture date?

I bought a bottle of retinol in squaline and then got pregnant. Thus by the time I was done breast-feeding, etc., I assumed the bottle was probably expired. However, I didn’t throw it away before buying a new one and now I don’t know which one is the new one and which one is the old one! Is there any way to tell?

So I have always been very picky/intolerant when it comes to most sock materials. I’ve dealt with Reynaud’s (vasoconstrictive disorder causing me to lose circulation in my feet for periods of time due to cold or stress), and I think I have a *touch* of nerve damage in my feet; my feet sweat even when I’m not working out, and I just generally cannot stand the feeling of most materials. The only sock I’ve ever been able to wear all day are rough cotton Hanes. Wool socks drive me batty because it feels like the sweat is just pooling in them and then like my socks are sliding around in my shoes. I’ve tried brands like Feetures, Smartwool, Bombas, etc. And they all feel awful.

I’m training for my first marathon and I’m wondering how much of an issue wearing my normal cotton socks is going to be. I wore them for a half marathon with no issues, but it’s twice the distance. Any other runners dealt with this?
