We adopted this big guy three years ago when he was 2yrs old. From the day we brought him home, he will attack our cat, who has lived with our previous dogs before. It has not gotten any better since and we have to keep the cat behind a door in a separate room. Otherwise he will actively hunt her down. He has never got a hold of our cat but I would only assume he would try to kill her if he did. He’s otherwise a gentle giant. Gets along with dogs, doesn’t bother other animals or even neighborhood cats. I assume it’s something to do with the cat being in the house, although he doesn’t have the same issue with another dog in the house.

Anything thoughts on how we can bond these two or is it a lost cause?
