I 24m had my tonsillectomy 10 days ago on the 8th, i have almost no pain except when yawning and the back of my throat is almost all clear of white scabs however i’ve noticed that everything i eat whether it’s fruit, cheese, dairy, popsicles, soups, macaroni, cereal it all tastes gross/bitter/metallic after one or two bites. it’s gotten to the point i put off eating until i have to since everything is just so unenjoyable to eat and im wondering if there’s any foods that you guys noticed didn’t get their flavor altered while recovering from your tonsillectomy? also sorry if this is a bad post this is my first time posting to reddit
