I married very young to someone whose life was already established. I love him deeply, but increasingly suspect that I don’t want the life that being married to him requires. I’m frightened that I’ll leave a man I love with wealth in pursuit of greater compatibility and eventually realize that what I had was rarer than I understood. How do I distinguish fear of losing him from a genuine desire to remain married? We became involved when I was 19, I’m now 24. I have no other dating experience.
