I managed to put a TINY drop of 3 in one oil in the governor and cylinder and it came right back to life. Unfortunately the music box was painted green and the paint comes right off onto my hands, but that should be an easy fix.

Bought this music box from EBay and I immediately knew that the key was wound too tight. I tried to get it playing again, but the govener barely moved when I tried to spin it with my tweezers. I also noticed that…it was also painted green? I have never dealt with something like this before so…any idea on how to fix it?
