I've been watching 4 or 5 episodes a day - my 1st time watching this - & am in the middle of the episode where Joe comes back.

I'm ready to strangle him with one of Vera's scarves! What a complete jackass he's turned onto! He's an officious little paper-pushing bureaucrat who's forgotten that Vera's methods & instincts helped make him the good copper he was.

This is infuriating! Hope he comes to his senses by the end of the episode.

(Love his voice tho.)

We've been re-watching the 2004 - 2013 "Marple" series & have enjoyed seeing actors we know from elsewhere, among them:

Gavin, Gavin's mate Budgie (the actor actually lives in Billaricay), Stacy, Nessa, Pam, & Uncle Bryn!

Such fun!

(Among others are a contingent from Downton Abbey, some from James Bond movies, a few from Upstairs, Downstairs, etc.)
