Neighbor won’t stop yelling at us instead of communicating
We moved into a home. It has a yard and works out perfectly bc we have 4 dogs. Neighbor to the right of us was actually the last tenant in our home. They were evicted bc they stopped paying rent. We were warned by our landlord to stay away from her.
2 weeks went by and everything was chill. Until my bf decided to put our trash bin against a shared wall that we have with this neighbor. It’s a closed bin and we put it against the wall inside of our home. My bf kept noticing that the bins were away from the wall and blocking our side entrance so he’d move it back against the wall.. he mentioned it to me but I said that it may be the stray cats who move them when they jump over ?
One weekend morning at around 7am we hear our neighbor screaming and cussing “ I told you that I don’t want the fucken trash cans against the wall!” Then she noticed that we added a camera to our side window for our side entrance. It looks like it’s pointing to their side but it only captures our shared brick wall that’s like 6ft tall. And maybe some part of their blank wall with no windows ! Not even that much. Cant see them. Camera is only meant to detect what’s on our side. Once she noticed the cameras she started yelling “they have a camera pointing at us fucking ridiculous ass people.. etc.” all in Spanish.
Shes never tried talking to us about the bins or the cameras. She decided to move the bins herself by reaching over our shared wall that’s like 4 ft tall. No communicating but 0 to 100. We’ve seen her multiple times before and she never once tried talking to us. Theres other adults in the house and never once have they tried talking to us or tried asking us to please move the bin if it was really a bother.
Now shes put cardboard boxes on top of our shared brick wall that is like 6ft tall bc that’s where the camera is and it’s “pointing at them” when the camera is literally pointing down.
Today my bf texted me to lmk that she’s talking shit again but under her breathe but loud enough for him to notice. She literally just stared at him for a minute while he was tending to the yard… I told him to record her next time bc this has gone too far.
The neighbors to the left of us have felt her wrath before when she was living at our house. They have a pomegranate tree that goes over to our side. You would think wow what a blessing right ? Wrong ! She thought other wise and apparently was beating the treee with a stick one morning. Apparently even the neighbors in the alley behind us have also had problems with her. I don’t understand how it’s gone this far. We try making eye contact with her family so that we can have a conversation but they avoid us.
Just so confused. I’m convinced that she yells at our house when we’re not there lol. How is it wrong that we put our bins against our side of the wall but it’s not wrong for you to put cardboard boxes on top of our shared wall??
