Apple CarPlay problems
2025 Crosstrek Sport here. I’ve had this problem before, where the CarPlay icon just disappears from the screen. I’ve try all the common sense fixes, and none of the work. I just wait patiently until it returns on its own, usually weeks, sometimes a month or two. Anyway, it just happened again. But this time I noticed that the “weather widget” on the top of the screen is now blank. I get the “weather not available” message.
This two problems gotta be related. Why is it that the weather widget doesn’t load? I would assume that it might be the fault of signal it’s receiving but I’ve been thru all the screen menus and haven’t found anything useful. Any ideas as to what’s going on here? FWIW, I subscribe to Elon’s remote start app for $5/month. Apple CarPlay sucks so much.
