Playing football

I’m currently an underclassman in high school. I had huge aspirations to play in college and maybe d1 as a lineman. I have a solid frame right now 6’3.5 245 after dropping 20 lbs, and played varsity as a freshman. I’d still love to play but I am taking a year off as of now to get stronger and stabilize my back

anyways I was wondering what you guys think about me still pursuing college football with this condition. My pain is pretty severe, and curve is just below surgery level. As I said I’m taking a year off, but I am wondering if its still worth pursuing the rest of football with aspirations of playing college football at a position with very severe and repetitive collisions that load the back.

Honestly after the diagnosis in the winter, I really struggled with everything. Basically constant pain without heavy pain killers and the lack of motivation were terrible, but it’s gotten better thankfully. Do you think after stabilizing for a year and resting and getting stronger, my back would still like “give out” on me?

Tips on losing weight and getting a better physique (Caption With Details)

Details: (I am fully relaxed in the photos)
6’3.5 245 ish teen
Scheuermann’s Kyphosis
Lost about 18-20 lbs already
Taking a year off of football under doctor orders was an o lineman that’s why I carried the weight

Description:
I have been less active than usual for the last 6 months and have just started to get back into lifting and basketball. I was out of most activity b/c of pain level.

What macros and calorie deficit should I aim for and what should my weekly agenda with activity be (lifts (ig. Back day, arm day, etc.), cardio, and rest days).

What lifts do ya’ll recommend?

What lifts do ya’ll recommend for a teen with scheuermann’s kyphosis? I am a teen and have pretty consistent pain from my condition, but I am often still able to get lifts and other activities in as my pain allows. I wondering not only what back workouts/movements/lifts you all recommend but just full body in general.

Should I have this much pain?

(Scheuermann’s Kyphosis) I am a male, not gonna say my age but I am in high school currently. I am a bigger kid around 6’3-4 250 trying to slim down. I have played football as a lineman and lifted for multiple years as well. I had two deadlifting within the last two years with the more recent one leading to diagnosis. The more recent one around ~ 8 months ago has led to pain everyday with different episodes of a couple weeks to a month. My original doctor who is neurology pain management told me I’d be out of every activity for a year including running and jumping. Then I was referred to an ortho spine surgeon and he really wasn’t that concerned. He said that I should be fine for everything in the next couple months as of a couple months ago. Anyways sorry for rambling just annoyed that I have been in daily pain for the last couple of weeks. Pain is stiff and almost debilitating in some instances can come from laying in positions or sitting for too long. There is also an underlying feeling of ( I don’t know how to phrase this ), but uncomfortableness. Usually some foam rolling relieves but recently has just been making me stiffer. It’s tough because they gave me heavier duty pain killers but I don’t want to be limited to those so it’s a constant cycle of ibuprofen and Tylenol. If anyone has tips or support please share.

Impressive? (High school freshman)

How impressive is getting into and attending SEGL (School for Ethics and Global Leadership) in the Spring Semester of 2027 as a sophomore. I applied late this year as a Freshman and just accepted my position. I am technically going a year or two early

Found recently in my old Pokémon cards from 5 years ago. Stored in the sun and moon tag team trainers box( idk if relevant). No idea if I pulled it or traded for it when I was younger. Please help
