So I’ve been selling my entire pokemon card collection from my childhood. This is the first time I had an issue like this. The customer states “Hello the good news is the card arrived the bad news is that it is very obviously a fake card. I sent a refund request and I would love if you could accept it I can send the card back if you’d like but it’s fake and I’m sure it was an honest mistake”

I have no experience with this type of thing. From some basic research into fake cards online I don’t see how it looks fake? It looks real to me. And I don’t really understand the rip test. What do y’all think, does it look real or fake? Also I was trying to compare his photos to mine and as far as I can tell it looks like the same card from my listing except for maybe a couple small white dots on the back? Idk, hard to tell for sure. How should I move forward? The card was only sold for $9 is it worth hassling with or do I just issue them the refund or what?

I will be leaving this up for personal reasons, but pls understand that I've learned my lesson and will be more careful next time👍 I'm turning off my notifications now lol

I seen a lot of people buying this card this 2 days. I might give it a shot lmao and if it’s fake I will claim as fake in eBay 🗿 since I have 3 days to do a claim 🥸

Recently I’ve been very lucky buying good cards from Vinted… I recently bought two cards… while being In Japan for similar prices I’ve seen here so when I arrive home they are ready to pick up

Long story short the small print at the end of the description says ‘fan art’

I cancelled immediately and the seller told me I should read all the description before buying next time…

The cards he has listed are extremely close to the market price of the ACTUAL CARD and I thought I was getting a bargain.

Be careful guys… doesn’t mean every seller is like this as I bought a 151 Charizard from a very good seller on Vinted and had it confirmed was real.

For me the small print at the bottom and badly taken photos… plus it being in a penny sleeve and top loader are a blatant try to come across as real…

What do you guys think? I’m I over reacting… plus should I report them? For selling counterfeit goods? Thanks guys

My Mom Got These For My Birthday Off Of Amazon Are They Legit? They Were Sol By “Errant” and we can’t send them back because Amazon says we have to ask The Pokemon Company But It’s Not Even Sold By Them

I am not asking if this is fake. It is definitely fake.

However, I have seen people say this holo pattern is not able to be faked, so I wanted to share here, for anyone looking the card up in the future. Either to compare a fake holo pattern, or as something to watch for.

I think this may be a card that had the ink stripped off and then the fake printed onto it? I feel like the holo pattern actually looks okay, and the “D in the P” also looks pretty right? To me at least?

I’ve taken some comparison photos against two other Legendary Collection Reverse Holos I own - one is graded, so I’m confident it’s real (purple), and the other is from my childhood collection and not suspicious (yellow).

Curious if other people also think it may be a stripped card? Honestly, if it is I may strip it again myself. I think I’d rather have a blank card than a fake 😅

The photos of the Ps are not labeled, because I thought it may be more useful for people to not know which is which when looking at them?
