Finally arrived!

Been a long impatient wait for my Omni to arrive, but man was this thing worth the price and waiting! Grabbed an X12S clone while I was waiting and honestly that little buggy is a blast too! Bit too low for the dog park, but it absolutely rips with the speed pinion on! Pretty durable too! And got the aluminum arms, hubs/knuckles, and steering wiper coming for it to beef it up a bit.

This carbon omni is something else though! Seems insanely beefy, and I don't think I'll even need to upgrade anything for a while which is nice. But after ripping it and doing some big jumps at the pump track down the street from me, maybe I'll end up needing it stronger sooner than later.

Anything I should buy ahead of time to keep on hand for when it does break? Or should I just wait til something breaks then order that and rip the buggy in the meantime?

Did I make the right choice?

I've been into 1/10 RC drift for a while now and have a few builds, but started on a brushless RTR that got completely upgraded as it just wasn't that competitive.

Now with a recent back injury I wanted to get an RC truck or something to run at the dog park with my pup to get her a good run and not hurt my back.

I tried a 1/10 Hosim off Amazon, burnt out the brushed motor the second outing, replaced with a HW 10b120 and 10.5t sensored combo, then the second outing broke a drive cup and strut tower. Only replacements for them are the same plastic crap and I started looking into better RTRs or chassis for the dog.

Found the Omni Terminator and was going to get the chassis, but the carbon RTR v2 seems like such a good deal I opted for that. Saw the upgraded aluminum parts are really cheap and readily available which made it a no brainer to purchase as at least whatever breaks can be made stronger. Been watching a bunch of videos on them recently and they seem insanely durable, but how realistic is that?

Did I make the right purchase getting the carbon v2 RTR? Thinking about replacing the ESC with my 10bl120 as everyone says the brakes are too hard and not adjustable. Would that be a good idea? Thinking I should replace it and move it so I can use bigger batteries. Is that a good way to run it? Or what would you guys suggest to make it solid for the dog park and be able to run for up to an hour with two batteries? Dog park is rough grass terrain with some big rocks I might be able to scale and jump off. Big dip that should work as a jump both ways too. Pretty stoked to see how it performs just hoping I made the right choice
