As the titel suggests I accidentally ordered a DSK buggy. I went to check-out to see what shipping costs would be. The moment I did that the order was confirmed because all my info was already filled in.

I dont know if I want it yet. I have seen the top plate is a weak point and dont know how long rlaarlo parts take to deliver to EU. Would you guys take this offer?

RTR DSK buggy would cost me €440.

I realized I should have been prepping and painting the body shell all along. That’s going to take a bit of time.

The motor/ESC combo is Hobbywing MAX8 and 4278 sensored. The servo is AK47 8.4v. The receiver is RadioLink R8FG paired with the brilliant RC8X.

This one went together pretty smoothly.

Got the steering linkage all hooked up. It feels pretty solid and smooth.

I got through most of bags A and B so far. I had to backtrack a couple of times because I got things backwards. Rear end is coming along nice now.

Let me know if more updates are wanted. I’ll try to keep taking pictures at each step.

I took all the stuff from a Carbon O.T. and put it on an SBK chassis, then put a wing on the O.T. rear....

If the build quality is on par as the Terminator, the DSK should be a fun build and good backup for the Tekno EB48.

Going to run this at some bigger 40+ and sportsman eBuggy events.

Let's see how long this takes to ship from China to the US. I say 4 weeks.

This is my first rc car and first big crash, im not sure what all parts need to be replaced. Any help is gratefully appreciated. Im sure the shocks and sway bar, but not sure what else 🤔.

Does anyone run the terminator without these?

I prefer the look of it without much more and also the motor never seems to get anywhere near warm.

I haven’t run it without yet but has anyone noticed a difference without?

Will I be okay running it without or should I leave it on?

Ok guys so I know a lot of people try to order the Omni terminator and others on Ali express and i always hear of orders getting cancelled when the prices are crazy cheap!
Well I tried my luck on a seller on there and by surprise both cars I order actually came!!
Got another carbon OT and got the carbon xts-f10 for right at 350 after taxes and “fee’s”

Actually also ordered the 1/8 aarma typhoon blx for 250 as well. Still waiting on that one and it’s a different seller so not sure if it’ll go thru or not. I’ve never really had orders cancel on there besides some parts but seems like a lot of people say they don’t get them which is kinda the reason i ordered 3 different rigs as my logic was surly one will come out of the three 🤣

all of the sudden my OT Carbons has a mechanical issue. if i let off the throttle it was stopping instantly even after changing throttle settings. Doing some testing i moved the motor away to rule out the motor so the pinion gear can spin freely. I can spin each individual wheel; even the front and rears. If i put the car down and try to physically roll it is it install locked up. I also notice that the drive shaft cup is touching the motor heat sink. Any idea what the issue is? it’s obviously an issue with the diffs?

What’s up!! I know you guys with the OT have problems with the truck just plastering the rear end with mud and grass and such! Well i ordered some mud guards off Amazon a little while back and just thought I’d share the info! I’ve talked to a couple guys on here about them but never posted about them yet!!
They’re a 3d printed part i ordered off Amazon! They’re really flexible and have great coverage of everything back there!
I’ve been bashing pretty hard since installing them and ran in the wet mud/fresh cut grass as well! They perform amazing at keeping stuff outta there and pretty lightweight so no worries there!

Really hard to show them in detail in a pic but you get the idea lol!! They even have the little bend to fit the bottom arm tightly!
