Absorption through arm pits?

Hi everyone,

I heard in Spain, that witches (meigas) in North West Spain, Galicia, used the amanita muscaria by peeling the to skin of the mushroom and applying it to the arm pits or groin for absorption through the skin and as such they could control how they "fly".

Anyone heard anything similar?

It could be a made up story....but oral traditions carried for millenia.

The Celts were in Galicia longer than in Ireland, but others were there before that.

The groin and arm pits are close to lymphatic nodes so it kind of makes sense to an uneducated in physiology.

I have always been curious.

Foreman duties?

Hi ,

I am in a job where I have an apprentice and a Journeyman I have to read blue prints, assign work, supervise, and give direction, create new blue prints listing circuits, even write new propose protocols.

I have a supervisor (state salary) who is not an electrician who I see once every two weeks usually, who I send a list of materials via text.

We are getting paid prevailing wage, while our supervisor is a State employee.

From reading the web it looks to me I am doing foreman work....but is usually listed as 2 journeyman under the foreman not a journeyman and an aprentice.

I would like to ask for a pay increase at some point but I like to do my research first and learn as much as possible.

I have a Master's licence and Journeyman and I are getting both paid the prevailing wage rate as electrician, which is a good rate.

Journeyman would be happy tgat I get pay more as he cann see my knowledge and my decades of experience and schooling as an electrician.

Any info, or advice will be greatly appreciated. I read foreman rate is 10% to 15% over.

Thank you

Fringe benefits paid in cash directly to me

Im gearing paid through a staffing company prevailing wage, and they pay me in cash direct deposit the part for health, pension, pto etc... called fringe or additional benefits.

I would like to set all that money pre-tax into retirement.

Was thinking to open a traditional ira 401k and set the exact amount of the fringe benefit to be direct deposit directly to the IRA account weekly and tge rest to a checking account.

Is there anything else I need to do so that money amount doesn't get tax deductions every week?

Does the amount has to be exact, or could I set a higher $ amount to go to the IRA? Or for clarity of non tax retention should I set to separate payments to the IRA one the exact amount of fringe benefit, and a other deposit of extra payment to the IRA?

Thank you

Short calls. Traveling short contracts

Hi All,

I would like to travel the country and pick up short jobs, ideally 1 week to 3 months, and take a few weeks in between jobs to travel this beautifull country in my camper van.

Licensed Master Electrician planning to exam in the local union. I have also done HVAC etc...licensed Master Plumber also.

If anyone has any adcive and tips on how to approach this please enlighten me.

If I take a job at a data center, chip factory etc...what's the nice way to leave after 3 months? You tell them in advance before getting hired? Is there 2 week notice like in regular jobs?

Thank you

57 years old electrician NY pros and cons to join the union?

Planning to work not more than ten years and having the option to work prevailing wage with fringe benefits.

My understanding is the fringe/supplemental benefits would be paid directly to the union instead of cash paid to me or can I choose to keep the supplemental benefits paid directly to me and I deal privately with my health insurance and pension?

Thank you
