Dosage issue

Hey all,

I’ve been trying out amanita via the Sacred by Sam tincture, but I’m not feeling much of any affect. Is there anything I’m doing wrong ? Couldn’t find much advice on dosage or how to take tinctures so I’d appreciate some guidance :]

Harmony Acres Muscaria vs Pantherina Tincture

Hello, i was just wondering if anyone has tried both or either of the Harmony Acres amanita muscaria and pantherina tinctures and whats the difference between the two since i know pantherina is supposed to be stronger but i looked at the lab tests listed on the website and the muscaria tested at (what the caps tested at): Total 6.349 mg/g, 2.999 mg/g ibotenic acid, and 1.815 mg/g muscimol, but the pantherina tested at: Toal 4.801 mg/g, 1.908 mg/g ibotenic acid, and 1.567 mg/g muscimol. So the muscaria tested higher and also the tinctures for the pantherina 1:4 costs $99 and the muscaria 1:4 costs $55 so the muscaria costs less but tested higher. Thank you!

A real example of our bulk Amanita mushrooms

Here is an actual example of a satisfied customer with their Grade B muscaria order. I think this was 5 or 10 oz.

Some of you may have seen last week a reddit user made a vulgar post complaining about the quality of our grade B mushrooms. That post was taken down due to some of their comments being so vulgar that reddit auto removed them, also multiple reddit accounts reached out to me saying they private messaged the OP and either didn't get any response or received a rude reply.

I can't even verify this was an actual customer of mine. Since they made it public before asking for a resolution with me, I publicly posted I will replace your B grade with A grade free of charge. To this, I got no reply. They never shared a name, address, order number, items ordered etc.

This was pretty upsetting to me because obviously its public slander. But more than that I and we at Harmony Acres just want to serve our customers well. This was either a bad actor, or a missed opportunity for a positive resolution.

We had a previous employee who may have not packed a bag correctly, and shipped out some powder. Or it could've just been not a real customer. I am not handling all our orders now as the business has grown beyond me.

I don't know where it went wrong, but I never got the opportunity to make it right.

But I still take all the criticism personally.

A flaw, yes, I am trying to work on.

That shows how much I care.

I'm not trying to make this a humble brag, a sales pitch, or a whoah is me pity party. I'm just sharing my truth and wanting to be heard by a reddit community I really appreciate.

Thanks to the users who reached out to me and affirmed their appreciation of our products and services and for their loyalty, and thanks to the moderators that eventually removed that toxic post.

Thanks to the thousands of customers who continue to come back over these last 10 years (yeah we've been in business for a decade, crazy to think that).

Uncommon Mixtures

Let me start with the obvious- if you are mixing amanita muscaria with anything else you should be putting in a real effort on harm prevention and reduction. AM has the potential to mix very poorly with some things and become actively dangerous. I do not support random cocktails of substances. Please dyor.

I've posted frequently that I dropped all adhd meds long ago and some years ago flipped to amanita muscaria as a replacement. I used microdosing full spec extract to great success in both my professional and educational spheres. I work a mentally demanding job and completed a perfect STEM masters speedrun, something I never could've done on my old meds and habits.

Well that led me to wanting to experiment. So recently, I started back on a mild dosage of vyvanse. By itself I could see a difference, and a general boost in performance. But overall, multi-day usage tended to increase the anxious whiplash that comes with stimulant usage in general.

I then began combining my ritualized microdose of AM with my vyvanse, and found that it leveled it out very smoothly. I am currently playing around with the times of administration, to see what works best.

I am moving faster and with more energy, but with the collected and focused calm of the amanita. I have only been running this trial for a few weeks, but I definitely see potential. I do notice that I still operate best with breaks every 3 or so days- which keeps me operating at my highest throughput.

With this combo, I am socially functional while feeling drawn to complete tasks. My emotional whiplash is pretty much managed. Vyvanse can tend toward intrusive thought, which the AM has functionally eliminated for me. I do think that higher doses of the vyvanse would start drowning out the AM, but thats fine, as I prefer low doses of medicines regardless.

Curious if anyone else uses such a mix, or what other mixes with AM people find optimal for their lifestyle.

Fucked again by harmony acres

2nd or 3rd bag of fucking inactive shake sent by harmony acres. supposed to be “grade B” caps but get 15+ ounces of gills/shake. it does nothing and I even suspect this batch has been processed once, re-dried and sold.

Big Amanita in MA

Apologies for only having one mediocre photo. I'm wondering how I might go about determining whether or not this is Amanita chrysoblema (Amanita muscaria var. guessowii). I've never felt confident identifying Amanita spp. in my local forests—since there are lots of lookalikes—though I have seen A. chrysoblema in lawns and near farms. What's the process of determining between the different pale / yellow Amanitas with warts?

I'm asking as someone who regularly forages for Exsudoporus frostii, Armillaria mellea, Suillus spraguei, Sarcodon imbricatus, Cortinarius iodes, Hydnum, Strobilomyces, etc.
