book cover

please, let aspiring writers breathe. hindi lahat ng bagay kailangang gawing issue, especially when no one’s being harmed in the first place.
jonaxx has this way of writing religion and politics without making the reader feel cornered. it never feels preachy din because the story speaks for itself and trusts the reader enough to draw their own conclusions. kaya ang dami kong “oo nga no?” moments habang binabasa ang story, because the realizations feel earned, not imposed.
i also believe jonaxx uses her pen to gently wake the younger generation to what’s happening in the philippines today. we all know sayuri will reach a point where she starts questioning what she once believed was always right, and that feels like a mirror to real life, especially for those who grew up with beliefs handed down by parents. at some point, you realize not everything you’re raised to believe has to stay as your final voice. you start thinking for yourself, and it becomes okay to disagree when something no longer sits right.
so sa mga nagsasabing bakit hindi nagvo-voice out si jonaxx when it comes to politics, i think this is her way of doing it. hindi yung puro “’wag niyong iboto si ganito” lang, but making readers understand things step by step through the story itself. mas tumatatak kasi kapag ikaw mismo ang napapaisip at unti-unting nakaka-realize.
10/10 yung made of scar. sobrang well balanced. it’s a bit heavy, but kai’s character brings in a playful energy that serves as a breather. galing mo, jonaxx!

some authors don’t just write stories. they become comfort during hard days. her completed works carried me through my high school years, and honestl, she deserves way more hype and recognition. thank you, tenten, for creating worlds people can escape into and characters we never forget. underrated queen!
Can we all take a moment to appreciate the amazing Filipina Wattpad authors who gave us comfort, kilig, heartbreaks, and life lessons through their stories?
Lately, I’ve been seeing so much negativity towards authors and they deserve more love and appreciation for all the effort, creativity and emotions they pour into every chapter they write. To all the authors out there, whether sikat man or underrated, whether kasama sa pictures or not... this post is for all of you. Thank you for creating worlds we can escape to, characters we can relate to and stories that stay with us long after we finish reading them. Maraming readers ang natulungan at napasaya ninyo more than you probably realize. Please continue writing and sharing your art. Your stories matter.
And can we appreciate how good and fresh she looks here!? Writing doesn’t drain her. It makes her glow even more!
