When I finished writing my novel after investing so much effort and time in it, ang nasa isip ko "maging teleserye ito". Ganyan ako kadelulu noon.
But weeks-month after posting it in multiple platforms and seeing the numbers....... Mas masakit pa sa bakit hindi ka crush ng crush mo. Totoo, mas pipiliin ko pang sabihan ng crush ko na "pangit ka!".
So I'm writing a story na ang trope ay province boy and city girl (ofc this has many sub-tropes). Hindi naman doon nakapalibot ang story, but given that it's ongoing, that's how much I could reveal pa lang. And then someone commented, predicted the plot, and said nakakasawa na raw ang ganoon at ang dali dali namang isulat.
Note na wala pa sa kalahati ang story. Mali rin ang prediction niya. But still, medyo nakaka-off as a writer na may mga binabato na silang off na commentaries without even reading the whole thing.
Question, dapat ba talaga na super unique ang trope ng story? What, do you think, is the right way to address this? Sobrang uncalled for kasi noong comment.
This is weird but I'm genuinely interested in seeing more of old book covers of og Wattpad books. Just saw yung sa evolution ng cover ng montefalco series and literally had to search up serialsleeper and idangs bc it actually felt do nostalgic.

Matagal ko ng nabasa 'to at na-discover ko lang kakakalikot sa Wattpad dahil wala ng nabasa.
This is not a paid reco or self-promo. Naranasan ko na kasing ma-frustrate dahil dami kong i-a-add sa library (yung iba million reads pa) pero 'di pala pasok sa taste ko yung story line and the way the author writes. Ending, tatamadin na ako magbasa.
Sadly, yung last book ni author ay hindi niya natapos. Not sure din kung kailan siya babalik sa hiatus niya.

Petty siguro sa iba, well I am a firm believer ng "Read what you can tolerate". Hindi ko talaga matolerate ang book na napakaraming plot twist kahit gaano pa kahype at kaganda ang first chapters.
May binabasa at sinusubaybayan akong book, I dropped it. Andami kasing nangyayari, daming pagsubok. Hindi na nakaahon yung lead sa problema putapete.
Wala lang, sayang kasi ang promising ng book. Ang problema hindi na ata alam ng author kung saan dadalhin ang story. Hindi pa naresolve yung naunang issue may issue na naman.

Ako lang ba, or sobrang nagsho-show na yung gap between newer Wattpad authors and readers?
This might just be a me thing, pero I find myself dropping stories kapag sobrang daming current internet slang sa dialogue. Mga words like “ick,” “it’s giving,” “delulu,” etc. Hindi naman dahil mali gamitin, pero it instantly takes me out of the story. Parang instead na immersed ako, feeling ko nasa TikTok comments section ako.
Gets ko naman if contemporary setting and teenagers yung characters, pero minsan parang sobra na. I kinda miss stories na mas timeless yung dialogue. Yung tipong kahit basahin mo years later, hindi siya agad nagfe-feel dated.

so nakakapag-ud at sulat si ineryss ng killshot, pero hindi matapos-tapos ang atr? ang halata na sa lahat ng story, atr ang hindi nya pinakagusto kasi nakagawa ng cover for next installment pero parang walang plano palitan sa on-going nya. nakakasulat pa yan sya ng prologue, chap 1-2 ng killshot eh considering na hindi naman yan ang next na magiging kwento, tapos ang ending, nabababad ang atr. alin ba talaga priority ni owtor?
Guys, over 10 years na akong writer pero hanggang sa utak at notes ko lang ang plot. Kasi puro romance ang sinusulat ko and action/thriller. But now nung nagsusulat ako ng Diary type of story. Mukhang matatapos ko siya sa wattpad. Walang narration involve at all😭 Puro diary lang. Dati kasi hindi ko natatapos ang storya altho kompleto sya sa utak ko kase nafefeel ko na diko siya kayang tapusin. Its too much for me. Now etong sinusulat kong talaarawan series, naeenjoy ko siya. Maybe because I am a lazy writer kaya may times na di ko kaya ang long narration.

nakaka-frustrate lang haha. i only intended na banlaw ko lang dapat yung shows. kasi reading was starting to feel repetitive. but now they take up even more of my headspace. mas lalo akong nawalan ng interest sa books. it doesn’t help that people keep saying the series are very different from the books.
i now either feel empty or has this intense urge of going back to the nth reread of my favorite book (two months ago lang yung last pls).

i know how controversial cheating is in the book community, even i hate it as a plot device, but here i am planning to write a book with such
the story goes with the girl as someone who viewed other people who stays in a relationship na may cheating as stupid, her point is "niloko na nga, papatawarin pa, hindi ba katangahan na yun?" not until nangyari yun sakaniya, siya na yung nasa posisyon na ganun, she realizes things and she found herself betraying that part of her cause why did walking away became the hardest thing for her to do?
other questions for this story would be "is a person actually capable of changing?"
anyway, this is just a lingering idea, but the urge of writing it is very strong lalo na i had a lot of realizations with life lately, doesn't help din na i had first hand experiences so yeah, you can say this idea is quite close to my heart
note: i'm no way romanticizing such hideous act, if itutuloy ko ang pagsulat i'm not gonna refer to.the cheating part as a pagsubok in their relationship cause cheating is never a pagsubok, it's a choice.

Lurker lang ako sa Reddit most of the time, pero sobrang na-curious ako sa topic ng AI usage. Based sa mga nabasa ko, sounds like may mixed reactions about AI pagdating sa creative works.
Baka naman pwede nyo kong i-enlighten sa pros and cons ng paggamit ng AI sa mga literary works, please? Bakit parang hatred agad ang reaksyon ng karamihan?
mine is “30 Days of May” mind u i was grade 6 lang that time 😭 but the book is vv good! tho may pagka jeje writings given na naisulat ata sya around 2015 or something but still my fav. Anddddd hiniram ko lang yung book sa classmate ko. My first ever book naman na nabasa sa wattpad app is Hell U.
