Changed my carrier bearing out for another OEM about 10 months/7k mi ago. It needs replacement again(extreme angle on drive shaft, overworked truck).

Ive found some sweet looking 300$+ carrier bearings, are they worth it?

I don't mind if I have to put a new OEM carrier bearing in once a year for less than 100$, but id like to replace it every 3-5years if possible.

Had a misfire today on my 96 V6 3.4l., changed out all plugs, seems to be back to normal now.

I noticed on the passenger side, the 2 coils nearest the firewall had considerable rust and white/gray dirt on them. Also white/gray dirt/soot in the plug holes, which I blew out before removing.

What does this mean?

Are the boots bad?

Is there something I should do to keep it from rusting and getting dirty inside the spark plug holes?

This is the second motor in the truck, I'm told it has approx 200k mi.
