Hi! I’m planning to buy a new laptop for university, but I’m not sure whether a Mac or Windows laptop would be better for me. I’ve been using an LG Gram for the past 4 years, and aside from my laptop, all of my devices (tablet and phone) are Apple products.

To be honest, I kind of want to switch to a Mac, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to adapt to it or if there might be limitations in terms of usability. I tried using Stage Manager with my iPad becuse i heard it is similar to MacOs system or something….? and it honestly felt a bit uncomfortable. Windows feels more intuitive and straightforward to me, while Mac sometimes feels a little less convenient in that sense.

My major will likely be in health science/biology, so I was wondering which laptop would suit me better. I’d also really appreciate any device recommendations. Thank you!

Hi, I was wondering what grades people usually had when applying through early admission and how much they received in entrance scholarships especially for BSc. And if you have taken AP courses, does the scholarship amount go up? I’d really appreciate it if anyone could share their experience. I’m a high school student in Nova Scotia.

Hello, I’m planning to apply for early admission to the Medical Sciences program and other science programs at Dalhousie next year. Would they consider my Grade 11 average and my Grade 12 marks up to the time I apply?

Right now, my Grade 11 average is hovering around 97-98. I had few meetings with my school counsellor but she doesn’t seem to know much about this program. So I genuinely have no idea what kind of grades I need to maintain in Grade 12. I’m currently a Grade 11 student in NS.

If anyone knows anything about this at all or has an advice Please let me know i’d really appreciate the help!
