Is it worth reading further?

I used to be a massive fan of unordinary when i was younger where i left was during seraphina taking down john as the blyke hero arc kinda threw me off (after rereading now i appreciate it alot more) now ive reread and gotten up until john lost his ability, i know he gets his power back eventually (hes the main character i know he will) but its honestly killed the momentum for me and i cant help but feel it will just turn back into the original story first arc where everybody will target john and attack him, sera will protect him where she can (or another royal)

I honestly dont see what character development he can gain from this other than "it turns out i really do want my ability"

Is there any way to fix Mii's on emulated 3DS games? This is my second game with an issue like this, i'm using Manic EMU and Vimms lair

Heavys H1H Review

I rate these a solid 9/10

The company is scummy there is no denying it this is a review of the product

I have used these headphones with and without the noise cancelling during bus rides, stick welding and on public transport

Out the box is they are very muddy however the EQ app is very responsive and compared to (many) other EQ apps I have tried for music it is one of the most responsive and it has never failed on me after 5 months which is alot better than certain other brands-- cough cough skullcandy

Sound quality is very nice once dialed in with eq'ing on both the app and spotify

However, the "Hellblocker" aka ANC mode does not like bumpy roads so be warned if you are on buses so expect weird chirping noises

That being said when not on buses it is actually quite nice, the trains I take are pretty loud with low frequencies and the ANC blocks it entirely

On planes it is also very nice I was sat right next to the engine and did not hear a thing from the engines

Walking around and gym I notice that it is very nice again however you still hear certain things like talking and equipment slamming but it is considerably less shocking than with it turned off

Even passive noise cancelling is really good, I have no issues with it on any mode of transport and is pretty good

However it does not block out voices well anywhere, whether it is on plane bus train or whatever so I do recommend turning volume up just a bit if you want to isolate yourself

Now for welding it is surprisingly good for blocking out the machine, extraction and the welding process, its about 90% effective as earplugs but if im being honest ill take my music over muffled metal being chipped and welded constantly so I would recommend it for tradesmen who can get away with having such bulky headphones

Passive mode is fine, it does the job the microphones are pretty mid but is very average

The gripes I have

There is a noticable hiss when you pause music for a few seconds then it disappears, even if im playing it quietly I can hear it

The covers being very cheaply made and not worth the money but I cant knock them too much for it because it does have bands that need their cut for it

They are not good for games like siege, fortnite, overwatch or dead by daylight where I personally recommend 3D audio or atleast wide stereo which these do not have the capacity for even though they are branding themselves for gaming use but for casual games like minecraft, stardew and story games like elden ring RDR2 I did enjoy

The microphone is cheap and sounds really bad, you might get away with a phone call but don't count on it

They are weighty so I would keep it in mind for buying but I got used to it quickly as I also wear a welding mask that is also heavy

Because they are bulky I am not the biggest fan of wearing them around my neck as they just put a little too much pressure on my neck and chin

The volume adjustment feels a bit sticky sometimes

The best detail is when it is loud which is pretty unfortunate for long listens

What I like

Physical buttons are incredible and all have a distinct feel

How comfortable they are, I know I said they are heavy but it is very well padded, the earcuffs feel amazing and the headband too and they do seal incredibly

The design is quite nice compared to just the standard 2 blobs and strap design you see everywhere

The bluetooth range is very good and from my experience has not been disturbed by leaving my phone in my room and going downstairs leaving my heavys on with no pain

They fit my big head with so much give which is rare for over-ears

Great battery life in general and even more impressive for 4 speakers and 4 subwoofers

They do country really well, my favourite track on these headphones is The Masters Call and the detail you get out of it (for being an old track) is insane and it doesnt feel muddy at all and honestly the whole gunslingers album is great sounding

They do metal really well (shocker) and my favourite is fade to black, the end solo you can hear both guitars clearly and both bass parts including the "hidden" solo clearly

Overall, id say its worth the money now and there was a first time buyer discount for me im not sure if it is still up but if you are looking for a pair I recommend
