Kulebiakin is mini Kuch confirmed
High IQ playmaking, super clutch, scored two at the end when his team’s goalie was pulled

Which means we can keep Moser! Time to obtain Carlson for RHD with the remaining cap space
(Ps: you can stop talking about werenski now)
I realized that since it’s July 1st and a lot of names are going left and right, I thought it would be a good idea to just make a post here and talk about what’s going around the league.
(Not a mod, but if you don’t this post I’ll take it down).
2nd round pick for a couple of games. Smh
With Carlson’s rights being traded to Carolina (they only have 11mil in cap), there’s a chance we could get Alexander Nishikin who is a projected LHD 35+ pt player. A young guy paired with Moser coming off of a stanley cup win could totally work with our system.
JBB could get him at 6.5m and trade Cernak or another D
cant believe this shit went full circle and we needed to pay a 1st for Bjorkstrand let alone get him in the first place.
Rasmus Anderrson is a UFA but given that vegas went to the cup final, he might sign there instead
I have 0 interest in picking up John Carlson especially at a deal like 10mil x2, he can go to Nashville for that kind of deal.
Looks like Dylan Larkin has taken the red (wings) pill on the Yzerplan and wants out. We really need another active scoring center.
Usually when a player wants to leave and won’t resign, their value drops. Do you think Tampa could make the moves to obtain Larkin (and if he’s worth it?)
Edit: Larkin has a cap hit of 8.7mil which is decent for a 65pt average
Edit 2: Minnesota doesn’t have any major prospects or pieces to move unless if they have a clone of Buium somewhere
After being snubbed nine or ten times, Jon Cooper has FINALLY won the Jack Adams. Let's go over how he has been a fantastic coach this season for the lightning:
- Went 6-1-0 during a preseason to elevate existing prospects (this doesn't count but I'll still put it in there)
- Put out flexible lines to allow call ups to play with top players to grow their skills, didn't believe in a "fixed line mentality" like other coaches do.
- Made Goncalves a better player and gave him more roles leading to better production
- Made James a better player for giving him more roles on ice too.
- Universally respected by the lightning organization.
- Coached the Lightning to a 20-1-1 run in the middle of the season.
- Took what should've been an older "win now or decline" team to 2nd in the toughest NHL division
- Put Raddysh on PP1 for insane production with Moser after Hedman and McDonough were injured for a good chunk of the season.
- Created some of the best penalty kill combos in the league.
- Coached the team for a 5-goal comeback in our stadium series game.
New watchers claim this was a "it's his turn award" but then ignore everything he's done this season to make this team good. Lindy Ruff was also a good coach but that Sabres team mainly improved to due a GM change and bringing in younger and grittier talent in the locker room. There's always next year!
If you’re looking to upgrade seats, there’s nothing left in the 200 section (or atleast when I had my timeslot earlier). There’s some open in the 100s and 300s.
