What the Lightning have done at this Point. I like what JBB has
Done. Obviously gotta see how it all plays out but I cannot wait until The New Season Starts. Excited to see how the newly acquired players perform.

I’m obviously not panicking yet as the summer just started BUT at what point would you Guys be worried about a contract not being in place? I’m thinking training camp. But hoping it gets done in the next week or so
I want to write off last season as a bad year but I'm not sure if it'll be a simple "yeah last year was a bad year but he should be better". I mean he should be better, but I don't think he'll be as good as his best seasons (he's 30/closer to 31at start of next season). The team at times during the year was spreading out their offense (Cirelli with Kuch) and Point away from Kucherov did not produce as much and he wasn’t great in the playoffs. As well, I think teams finally figured out Point's PP office and with Carlson replacing Raddysh on the PP, things may not change that much for Brayden.
Or if he bounces back, it's not to the level of the past few years.
Hey everyone. My brothers birthday is coming up and he’s been looking for a reverse retro 1.0 for a while. Wanted to see if anyone on here had an authentic one they’d be willing to part with. Looking for sizes 48-52, blank or player both fine.
Local pickup is preferred. Im right in Tampa.
Thanks everyone! Go bolts

Imma say he might be having maximum fun today, hosing down the crowd at Gstaad at the beach volleyball tournament
I may have to vote him Mr. Personality on the current edition of the Lightning.
EDIT TLDR: (somehow) Unintentional AI on photos but check out the links for the unadulterated versions - sorry!
EDIT: please excuse the terrible (& unintended) AI in the photo collage. The links to Moser’s insta work and have the real pictures which are great. Canva went rogue on a novice user (is there a step or three below a novice?) and I only intended to group the photos into a vacation-y looking collage which is what I thought I did, but, Canva 😳🫣😵💫…transformed the faces for no reason that I can fathom and did not knowingly induce.
Those who follow Mish know that he does a lot of community work through Stella by bringing her by to TGH and other medical facilities around town as well as being a regular at Benchmark international Arena. Dave announced today that Stella has crossed the rainbow bridge. I'm sure that all.of lightning nation will unite in somber respect and condolences for Mish and his family.
Fly high and have all the fun in the big yard across the rainbow bridge Stella
Genuinely just curious what everyone else thinks about this. Don't get me wrong the blue is great, but the black and silver jerseys were just better imo. There is definitely an oversaturation of black sports jerseys, but I think for the Lightning it worked really well to help them stand out.
The price may skyrocket!!! Never put off tasks that can be completed right now! ⚡️
Wouldn’t be surprised if he mans a line with Viel considering they both were with the Ducks last year
High IQ playmaking, super clutch, scored two at the end when his team’s goalie was pulled
3rd round pick, 90th overall from the draft
2-$8.5 for Carlson is better than 8-$8.5 for Raddysh.
Just verifying before I drive out there
RW Ilya Mikheyev (31 YO): 4Y $15.4M ($3.85M AAV)
Considering some of the contracts that were given out to Top 6 "tweeners", I consider the value of this deal to be exponentially better. I think he'll slide in well with Gonzo & James as a speedy scoring line and has room for chances in the top 6 if he scores as much as expected. Not necessarily the flashiest signing by any means, but still very satisfactory.
Grade: A-
LW Jeffrey Viel (29 YO): 5Y $12.5M ($2.5M AAV)
I was really trying to not grade this so low. I was trying to find something about this player that made me go, "We NEED him on our team," which is clearly how JBB feels. Between the long term and the movement/trade clauses attached to this deal it is clear that JBB feels Viel is a necessity to this team. I, however, don't feel like the term nor the clauses are worth it for this player. I hope I'm proven wrong, though, and that he turns out to be a Maroon or Coleman-esque player who the fans grow to love. The ONLY saving grace is the AAV... I guess.

TOR Receives C Nick Paul | TBL Receives G Dennis Hildeby, 2027 4th & 2028 3rd
I knew this was an unexpected trade because no hockey insider reported it first. Let's start by talking about what it means to lose Nick Paul... I'm a little more concerned now about what our FO% will look like for next season. I know Paul had a down year but I was looking forward to seeing him make that comeback... he's the type of guy you want to root for. Someone from the bottom 6 was going to be left behind, though, and I would've been more upset had we given up someone like Gourde or Holmberg instead. The return is honestly quite good, though. With the season extending to 84 games, more and more teams are following the split-load system with their goaltenders. Vasy is not getting any younger, and having a more trustworthy backup goalie is a NECESSITY for longevity during the regular season. The two draft picks will either be stashed for use or be flipped during the trade deadline to acquire more pieces, which is always a good thing to have.
Grade: B+
RD John Carlson (36 YO): 2Y $17.0M ($8.5M AAV)
Waking up this morning, opening Twitter, and seeing this signing was absolutely amazing... a deep sigh of relief almost. We NEEDED to find someone to replace Raddysh. Everything about the contract itself is perfect. The term is just enough, the price is just right, and now I think we have our defense set. Carlson and Moser should fit as well as OJ's glove. Both guys will make each other better if they're paired together. The only downside to this is his age, as is the case with much of our defense, but that can't be judged more until we see what the product looks like on the ice.
Grade: A
I really think getting a top 6 fwd is entirely possible. We have the assets to go back and we actually need to make room. We have too many nhl level players.
Could make a trade involving Girgy, Geekie, D’astous or Lilleberg. Plus draft picks and we also have to move JJ.
Edited- I am referring to Johansson when I say we have to move JJ
If JBB could pull this off it would be an amazing offseason for him.
