Tips on how to break into Compliance

Hi everyone! I’m based in London, looking to break into compliance and would really appreciate any advice.
I have five years of experience working in Equality, Diversity and Inclusions/DEI within higher education, and I’m hoping to leverage the transferable skills I’ve gained to move into a compliance role (I also have an LLB).

If anyone has any tips on getting an entry-level role, or recommendations on skills, qualifications, or experience that would help, I’d be really grateful. Thank you in advance!

Hi All, just want to do a sanity check. I’m new to climbing but have been really enjoying it so I wanted to purchase my own beginners shoes than renting.

I’m a UK size 5 or 5 (1/2) for street shoes. My local shop recommended to me the Scarpa Helix Women, initially they insisted I take size 4. I tried these on the wall and could not even focus on the climb, could not complete routes I usually could. I went back and they agreed to swap it for size 5- but as I tried it on at home, even these are too tight, I’m getting heel indentations from the shoe press against my Achilles heel and my toe nails hurt from the pressure, toes are aggressively curled. They said that it’s normal and that the shoe will mould and stretch to my feet- I think this set up is good for professionals but maybe too aggressive for me?

Is this normal? Am I going insane? I just want to have a good time 😔
