Legends PvE Week

Hey Heroes and Villains! It's that time again!

Legends PvE Week is back and we want everyone to get the most out of it.

New to Legends PvE? Here's a quick look at how it works:

• Legends PvE allows players to run specific 4 player alerts and raids using avatars of iconic DC characters, rewarding Marks of Legend along with general and event specific Legends PvE Feats.
• Any owned Legends PvP character can be used unless that character appears as a Non Player Character in the instance, and duplicate Legends characters are permitted within the same group.
• Legends PvE instances are accessible via the On Duty Menu under Custom Play and the Events tab.

From May 12, 2026 through May 18, 2026, every Legends character will be available to try out and every Legends PvE map will be unlocked and ready to play in the On Duty menu.

Level Scaling Test Event

Hello Heroes and Villains!
 
Welcome to our Single Player Level Scaling early Beta test running May 12th - May 18th.

Many players have understandably reported disappointment with how DCUO's combat scaling works.  

Often referred to as the "Stat Clamp", players see wildly different (and much lower) output numbers based on the content they're playing.  

Our initial goal is for players to see consistent values regardless of the content.  

Our first attempt can be experienced in this solo instance.
 
As part of our Beta Test process, we're planning to replace Current Scaling with New Scaling (Beta) after testing and iteration.

In future updates, you'll see these changes rolled out across all content and instances in the game including Solos/Duos/Alerts/Raids and Open Worlds. 
 
For those looking to chase Feats, experience narrative, or just roflstomp old instances, Unscaled will be offered as well in private queue settings.
 
So buckle in, give us your feedback and enjoy the ride.

Event Details

Experience a new scaling system where enemies adjust to your Combat Rating and compare it directly with the current system, where your character is adjusted to match enemy levels.

This limited-time Beta Test is available through the Event System.

Requirements

• Characters must qualify for Casual Mode to participate.
• No buyout option is available.
• Event Category: Beta Test

To complete the event and earn rewards, players must finish all required challenges on Normal Mode.

Since this Beta Test requires Normal Mode specifically, players who qualify for Casual Mode will be able to access and run Normal Mode for this event, even if they wouldn't typically be able to.

Casual Mode progression will not count toward event completion.

Solo | New Scaling (Beta)

New Scaling (Beta) JLDC: Town Square Theater

Play a new version of the mission where enemies scale to your Combat Rating to provide an appropriate challenge. Normal difficulty only.

Solo | Current Scaling

JLDC: Town Square Theater

Play the current version of the mission where your character is scaled to match the Combat Rating of the Solo. Normal difficulty only.

In-Game Survey

After completing the event, players will take a survey.

The survey can be completed once per character and is required to unlock an additional once-per-account reward.

Players may retake the survey to provide more feedback, but additional rewards will not be granted.

After completing both the event and the survey requirements, players can claim a one-time account reward:

Where to Get It?

The Voidgazer's Resurgence Mega Capsule can be obtained in several ways:

• Dropped in-game from defeated enemies or node interactions.
  • Opened with 7 Stabilizers
• Purchased directly from the Marketplace for 700 Daybreak Cash (PC) or Marketplace Cash (PS, Xbox, Switch).
• Purchasable with Loyalty Points via the Loyalty Vendor.

Please note that there is no difference in the contents between the dropped version and the Marketplace version, giving you flexibility in how you choose to acquire them.

Absolute Kryptonian Time Capsule Update

As a follow-up to the previously mentioned issue affecting the Absolute Kryptonian Time Capsule, we wanted to share that our team is still investigating.

As a thank you for your continued patience in regard to this concern, we will be sending unlocked Absolute Kryptonian Time Capsules to all affected players.

Those affected by receiving incorrect time capsule rewards will receive additional messaging in-game once we are ready to move forward.

Travel Speed Boost

All players now receive their movement mode Boost trait for free at level 4!

No skill point investment required.

Whether you fly, run, glide, or skim, you will have access to your movement's top speed right from the start of the game.

The new player tutorial has also been updated to better teach this feature when entering the open world for the first time.
