Secure boot certificate issue
I'm currently getting a warning in Windows Security under Device Security that says:
Secure Boot is on, but your device does not support the automated Secure Boot certificate update due to hardware or firmware limitations. Contact your device manufacturer for assistance.
I also have an optional pending driver update for Insyde Software - Firmware - 5.43.1.10.
My Model: Acer Swift SFG14-71 and Current BIOS: Insyde Corp v1.09 (from 2024).
Has anyone else with an Acer Swift model installed this specific Insyde firmware update via Windows Update recently?
Did it successfully resolve the Secure Boot certificate warning for you?
Is it generally safe to install this BIOS/firmware update directly through Windows Update, or should I hold off ?
Did the official Acer support page release a bios update on their site also?
