First time mom to be, looking for advice

Hello ladies!

I'm a first time mom to be soon and a bit anxious about everything thats going to change and happen soon. I'm new to Trivandrum, and would like your inputs on following -

  1. Is there any mom group in Trivandrum I can be part of?

  2. Anybody here with experience of giving birth in
KIMS Trivandrum, especially an induction and can give me some insight into how the whole process would look like. (i will definitely ask my doctor as well just to know how it is from somebody with first hand experience)

  3. And any advice on things I need to consider or do before the little one is here is appreciated as well!

Thanks in advance:)

Anyone Here Filing 44ADA in India While Working Remotely for Foreign Company?

Hi, I work as a remote employee for a UAE based company. Earlier I was a full time onsite employee, but recently I moved back to India and shifted to a fully remote contract, where I took a salary cut along with losing benefits like insurance, travel, etc.

The company’s main office is in Qatar and they don’t have any office/entity in India.

When they moved me to the remote contract, they still gave me a new offer letter. The contract mentions that I’ll be receiving a salary of “xxx” amount and annual leave of “xxx” days.

But nowhere does it specifically mention employee or contractor/freelancer. Tbh it just looks like a normal offer letter, and there were no other supporting documents shared.

So now I’m trying to understand if there’s a way I can qualify to file taxes under 44ADA. What kind of documents are usually needed for this? Also, would it help if I ask the company to share a separate letter stating that I’m working as a remote contractor/consultant?

Any advice would be really appreciated.
