What's the most surprising way AI has helped you recently?

Not the usual writing, coding, or image generation stuff. I'm talking about a random problem where you thought, "Wait, AI can actually help with this?" I've seen people use it for planning trips, understanding contracts, organizing messy information, learning hobbies, and fixing everyday problems. What's the most unexpected thing you've used an AI tool for?

How can you make AI generated writing harder for Turnitin and other AI detectors to flag?

I know AI detectors are not very reliable, but is there actually a way to make AI generated text less likely to get detected?

Which AI tool do you use more than you expected?

I try a lot of AI tools, but only a few actually become part of my routine. What's the one you keep coming back to?

The AI Tools I Am Currently Experimenting With

For images, I mostly use Gemini Nano Banana. It has become my go to for creating and editing images, especially when I am working with reference photos. I mainly use it for changing outfits or backgrounds, recreating effects and editing existing images while keeping the same person or character recognizable.

For videos, I use Kling through Higgsfield AI. I usually start with Kling 3.0 Turbo for short videos and simple movements since it is cheaper. If I need more complicated movements or interactions, I switch to Kling 3.0.

My current workflow is pretty simple:

AI images → Nano Banana

Simple or short videos → Kling 3.0 Turbo

Complex movement or interactions → Kling 3.0

Cinematic effects or avatar workflows → Other Higgsfield models

The biggest thing I have learned is that using the most powerful model every time can waste a lot of credits. Now I try to use the cheapest model that can actually handle what I need.

If Turbo works, I use Turbo. If it does not, then I move up to Kling 3.0.

Still experimenting, but this approach has made things much more efficient for me.

What AI tools are you currently using for image and video generation?

Anyone else keep switching between AI tools for the same task?

I will use one tool, get an okay result, then try another just to see if it does better.

Eventually I have 4 tabs open and still have not decided which one is best

Anyone else?

Anyone else ask AI things they could easily Google?

Sometimes I could find the answer myself in 30 seconds, but opening an AI chat and asking feels easier.

It has definitely changed the way I search for small things.

Anyone else?

Has anyone found an AI tool that works well with poor-quality input?

A lot of tools seem impressive when you give them perfectly formatted text or clear instructions.

I am more interested in something that can deal with messy notes, incomplete information, or vague instructions and still produce a useful result.

Anyone found a good AI tool for turning audio into notes?

I have seen plenty of transcription tools, but I am more interested in something that can take a messy recording and turn it into useful notes.

Would be helpful for meetings, lectures, interviews, or even random voice recordings.

Has anyone had better results with a smaller AI tool?

The biggest AI platforms get most of the attention, but sometimes a tool built around one specific task can do a much better job.

Any smaller AI tool that surprised you?

Has anyone switched from one AI tool to another recently?

I'm curious about the reason behind the switch. Was it better results, lower cost, easier interface, more features, or something else that convinced you to move?

Need a good AI tool for organizing messy notes

I've got a bunch of scattered notes and information that could really use some structure. Any AI tools that handle this well without making everything more complicated?

What's the hardest type of text for Al to get right?

No matter how many prompts you try, there's always one situation where the replies still feel off. Which one is it?

Anybody else compare two AI replies before choosing one?

Instead of asking for a single response, I usually generate two different versions and mix the best parts together. It takes a little longer, but the final message almost always sounds more natural. Curious if anyone else has the same habit.

Anybody found a prompt that makes AI sound like an actual friend?

Most prompts make the replies feel a little too polished.

The messages are technically good, but they still do not sound like something a real friend would text.

If you have a prompt that consistently gives natural replies, please share it."
