Mova Z60 Roller Ultra Complete 3 month review

Hello everyone, this is my first review post of any sort. I hope you find this useful.

A bit of context: I got my first robot vacuum back in 2020, which was a Roborock S5 Max. This lasted me for one year. The only reason it got swapped was that someone bought it from me, so I upgraded to the S7. This robot is still with me, but it lacks a lot of the modern flagship features. Plus, the mopping bracket is coming apart.

Naturally, I started going on Reddit and YouTube to look for reviews on the best of the best. I watched many YouTube videos comparing models, breaking down maintenance, and so forth.

I ended up purchasing the Dreame L40S Ultra AE. The setup was quite easy; it came with the TriCut brush, etc. It did a good job at vacuuming, but the mopping pads (something new for me) were lacking. Transitioning from a vibrating pad to rotating pads, I expected much better cleaning efficiency, but this wasn't it. When it extended the arm, it would leave a 1-inch gap that wasn't mopped until it came back around, so streaks would show as the seconds passed. The dealbreaker was the dock. Washing the pads was incredibly loud! (On this note, not a single YouTube reviewer ever mentions how loud the dock is when cleaning the pads; they only focus on the vacuum). I submitted a return to Amazon.

I went back to the videos and sites and placed an order for the Roborock Saros 10R. Since I already had a Roborock and it worked perfectly, I figured it would be the best option. (I got it in October 2025, just a couple of months after its release). Everything worked as it should—except the extending pad. Sometimes it wouldn't extend even after messing around with the settings. I had the same problem with the mopping lines, and the dock was extremely loud when sucking up water from the tray to clean the pads. I returned it in less than a month.

Finally, I had almost given up. I figured I would just wait until something new came out, or maybe I was just expecting too much from these vacuums and their advertising. I figured perhaps a roller mop would suffice. The Mova Z60 Ultra Roller caught my attention over other roller mops. I placed the order in March of this year, and I have had it running non-stop. Currently, I'm at 8,300 minutes used across 118 cycles. It meets my expectations for its mopping capabilities—it extends the roller when it should. When it's vacuuming only, it's really quiet; when it mops, there's just the small noise of the rotating roller. BUT WHEN IT DOCKS AND CLEANS, IT IS MUCH LESS NOISY! I leave it running late at night, and even though we are light sleepers, it never wakes us up.

I believe this vacuum meets a lot of my needs, but it's not perfect, I must admit. I love that it drops down to only 96mm when the LiDAR hides, but I hate that it cleans everything else first (to keep the LiDAR out) and then goes back to clean underneath things. I believe this affects its ability to properly clean under my bed, at least. I have a bed frame and an adjustable bed as well, so needless to say, there are a lot of stands under my bed. It should still be easy enough to navigate (my S7 used to do it with no camera), but the Mova gets stuck even with its little flashlight.

I've even installed under-bed lights and run an automation so that when the vacuum is cleaning the bedroom, all the lights turn on to help it see. Even with this, it gets stuck and is unable to clean. It spends a lot of time and battery adjusting and relocating. One time, it even extended the map, thinking it was in another section of the room! I've sent feedback to Mova via the app to figure out if it's an issue due to my carpet style or if a firmware update would fix it.

One final thing to mention is that with Mova, I received an extra vacuum roller, extra mop rollers, extra side brushes, extra dirt bags, filters, and cleaning solution. Neither Roborock nor Dreame offered these—only extra dirt bags, if I remember correctly. So, this was a massive plus, along with the 3-year warranty.

If you read all of this, thank you for your time. Do your research based on your specific needs, but definitely give this vacuum a try.
