The French Restaurant is mid
Okay hear me out: I'm in Grenada and I've been to multiple sandals and the French Restaurant is just mid everywhere we go. I mean I'm in the Caribbean and I need to wear pants in 80 degree weather to go eat a mediocre chicken cordon bleu in a pretentious French restaurant? It's time to update the standards to cater to a non boomer audience. I mean this dude at deaths door was literally wearing a sports coat... In the fucking Caribbean... Are you kidding? Bro this isn't really "high class eating" I could get the same in Brooklyn.
The beaches are nice prettyuch everywhere but the food is key. If all you're offering is the same cookie cutter places at every resort what's the point of going to different locations? The French Restaurant is just the worst example overall. It's like they tell the staff to act pretentious.
The place isn't even full but it's just so uppity for no reason. "do you have a reservation" yea but you're half empty so it's not like it matters.
I'm really thinking that sandals is cutting costs. Everything used to be fresh and really high end now it's frozen reheated trash and boiled meats. It's kinda gross. I'm disappointed.
