Thinking it’s too basic is one thing, actually holding it is another

Whenever I saw a black and silver Mini Kelly before, my first thought was: it’s pretty, but too many people choose it.

After actually holding it this time, I didn’t feel that resistant anymore. Maybe I say I want something more special, but when it’s my turn to choose, I still get pulled back to something easier.

When you buy bags, do you choose something special, or something you know you’ll actually use?

My bank account filed a complaint, but my Kelly Pochette said “worth it

I told myself I was done for a while. No more bags, no more browsing, no more “just looking.”

And then this Kelly Pochette happened.

It’s one of those bags that makes absolutely no effort to be loud, but still somehow steals the entire scene. The warm brown tone with gold hardware feels classic in the most dangerous way possible—because once you see it in person, it becomes very hard to act rationally.

It has that very specific kind of elegance that makes you want to carry it even when you have nowhere important to go.

And yes, for something this sleek, it actually holds more than people think. Phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick, and a couple of small extras fit just fine. It’s not a throw-everything-in type of bag, but that’s not the point. It carries exactly what I need and somehow makes me feel more put together in the process.

What really got me is how versatile it feels. Held in hand, it looks refined and dressed up. Styled more casually, it still works without feeling out of place. It gives “I planned this” even when I absolutely did not.

So no, this was not a sensible purchase.

But emotionally?

Excellent decision.

QC : K25 in chèvre, black and glacier blue

Just received the PSPs for this Kelly 25 in chèvre leather with black and glacier blue.
This color combo really stood out to me right away — the black keeps it classic, and the glacier blue adds something fresh without feeling too loud.

I’ve looked through the photos a few times already, but I’d still love a second set of eyes before I confirm. Please let me know if anything stands out with the shape, handle, flap, or hardware. Thank you!

H Add-on: The bucket was the add-on, the horse was mine

This time, the H add-on was the grey bucket.

At first, I honestly didn’t know what to do with it. No matter where I placed it, it looked a little random. Then I put my own little horse inside, and suddenly it made more sense.

Now it doesn’t look like a random bucket anymore. It looks more like a tiny stable for my horse.Practicality aside, at least it finally has some entertainment value.

Some H add-ons are really abstract, but with the right use, they somehow work.

Do you think this bucket looks better styled this way?

Three Sunset Casaque bags together just made the choice harder

I’ve liked the Sunset Casaque collection for a long time, but seeing three different Bolide 1923 Sunset colorways together still felt pretty exciting.

They’re the exact same bag shape, but once the colors change, the whole feeling changes too. Each colorway has its own personality, and it becomes even more obvious when they’re placed side by side.

The Epsom leather keeps the shape structured, and the geometric color-blocking makes the rounded Bolide 1923 silhouette feel much more recognizable.

I’ve looked at them over and over, and I still can’t pick a favorite. Which one would you choose?
