Looking for guided online communities, resources etc to help me get my life back on track.
I'm yet another late diagnosed audhd individual that's currently in the lowest part of my life. It's been bad before but this time I've found myself in a code red mental health crisis, sometimes needing constant supervision to keep myself safe. I could write a book about some of my amazing highs and terrible low periods but this low point is starting to scare me.
My Insta and FB feeds are full of neurodivergent self help vids, but most of them honestly seem more 'this is what's wrong with you that's making life harder than it should be, join my online community/buy my book etc, and get better!.
Are any of these worth it? I have the money for fees or whatever if need be and I'm willing to put in the work, but I need guidance. Trying to get myself back on track feels daunting. I've tried 1 on 1 talk therapy before, but as I've found out, talk therapy doesn't seem to work when it's material and methodology that's meant for neurotypicals.
