Harrison County: Help stop Flock Safety ALPR cameras tracking our vehicles without consent
Hey East Texas neighbors,
I'm circulating a petition to end the Flock Safety automated license plate reader (ALPR) camera program in Harrison County. These cameras track every vehicle that drives by — recording where we go, when, and how often — often without most residents even knowing or consenting.
This is taxpayer-funded mass surveillance that raises serious privacy concerns and potential overreach. We deserve public input and transparency before systems like this expand.
