Not gonna lie i usually do 1440 or older times but decided to be east Germany in the Cold War and make a comeback but fucking he’ll seems impossible to do anything meaningful with the big alliances . Especially the nato alliance (well idk if it’s called nato but pretty much is) . And when everyone starts getting nukes then it becomes impossible . Im playing on extreme difficulty . Genuinely need advice

For me I’d say probably adventurer then becoming the Byzantine emperor. Or starting as a count working up to a emperor in the Byzantine for me

Always a lot of war and betrayals and castrating

So pretty much I was an adventurer for ages and decided to become a conqueror and take the Byzantine empire . I never have played adminastrive goverment before so first time . But one problem is the powerful familys . Mainly there is one super powerful family who litterlly has all of there members as governers a for most of the area

The most obvious choice is to just take them all out . No clue how though I never commuted genocide on a whole dynasty in this game before lol

But I have seen there dynasty and there really stacked through the legacies . So I was thinking there may be another way of using them instead of taking them all out like idk abducting them all and castrating them forcing them to be my courtiers or something ? Maybe somehow allying with there family but other than constant marriages i don’t see this happening lol .

What would all of you do ?

I have done this before but it was long I had to Bassically give up a dutchy I had and give it to them . Then once I done that I imprisoned them took back the dutchy. Then they became wandering so I just recruited them to my court but was wondering if there is a easier way to do this

Bassically im trying to impregnate/seduce some women ruler in Iberia to make them give birth to a child that Inherits there kingdom but is of my house can I do that ?

Honestly I am just thinking off just revoking all the titles because I don’t mind internal wars since i can win them right now.

I just don’t want my tyranny to get that bad it makes all my family members turn on me after all the bloodshed . I don’t fully understand how tyranny works and if it’s even that bad . Especially since my plan right now is to just replace the whole empire with dynasty members anyway

I have crown authority 4 btw and the reason I’m doing this is for renown gain and I’m slowly making my dynasty members all pure blooded through a lot of incest so pretty much my dynasty will fully control my empire and revolts probably won’t matter since everyone is a dynasty member anyway
