Has anyone experienced long delays with ACKO motor insurance claims and delayed survey reports?

I'm looking to understand whether my experience is unusual or if others have faced something similar.

My vehicle has been at the garage for more than 25 days following an accident.

During this period:

The survey report has still not been shared with me.

I have repeatedly requested the technical basis for accepted and rejected damage items.

Some of my written queries have remained unanswered despite multiple follow-ups and escalation through the insurer's grievance process.

The repair scope has been discussed before I have been able to review the survey findings.

I have also requested clarification on vehicle custody, an alternate vehicle during the delay, and responsibility for any additional damage while the vehicle remains at the garage.

I have now approached the Insurance Ombudsman for an independent review.

I'd like to hear from others:

How long did your ACKO claim take from survey to repair completion?

Were you provided with the survey report before or after repairs?

Did you receive written technical reasons if any damage was rejected?

If you escalated to IRDAI or the Insurance Ombudsman, how was your experience?

I'm looking for genuine experiences to understand whether this is an isolated case or something others have encountered.
